2023 WSAA Executive Council Elections - Westfield State Alumni

The WSAA will be electing six alumni members for the 2023 Executive Council members-at-large positions. These positions will serve three-year terms, contributing to WSAA efforts to continue to provide Westfield State Alumni with opportunities for engagement through lifelong learning, networking, social events, and campus connections.

My name is Jacob Lotter, Class of 2018 (BA History.) While at WSU I served on the Student Government Association for all 4 years ending with a two year tenure as the student body's Vice-President of Academic Life. While in that role I was involved in conversations around the common core, the university's academic structure, and the hiring of both a provost and a founding academic dean. I also ran two separate alumni events for SGA alum which were followed with planning a large retirement party for Barbara Hand in 2021. I have a good rapport with a number of involved alum and look forward to possibility of bringing these relationships and my skills to the Executive Council!
