WSAA Executive Council

The Westfield State Alumni Association Executive Council is comprised of representatives including the Alumni Trustee to the University.

The term of office for a council member is three years and may include terms as committee chair, president, past-president and president-elect.

Megan Bishop ’13 (B.A. Communication) | Past President

Megan is the purchasing agent for Westfield Electroplating Company in Westfield. While at WSU, she was very involved on campus, including working as a resident advisor, peer advisor, and the student worker for Alumni. She currently lives in Westfield. In addition to her bachelor’s degree, she also holds a master of liberal arts from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Megan is the WSAA representative to the Westfield State Foundation, Inc.

Chris Montemayor '90, M'09 (B.S. Business Management, Master of Public Administration) | Alumni Trustee

Chris is the senior vice president of rental assistance programs at WayFinders, Inc. and is the men's head basketball coach at Holyoke Community College. While at WSU, he was treasurer of Davis Hall, a member of the urban education program, a member of the minority business leadership (MBL) internship program, and played four years on the men's basketball team. He lives in Springfield, Massachusetts with his wife Teresa and they have two daughters, Anjelica who resides in Boston and Amelia resides in Cleveland. Chris is currently the alumni member to the board of trustees of WSU.

Colleen Murphy Clifton '11 (B.A. Communication) | President

Colleen is a Leadership Gifts Officer at Milton Academy in Milton, Ma. While a student, Colleen was an orientation leader, campus tour guide, a member of the Honors program and a four-year senator on SGA, including a two-year term as SGA president. She was the recipient of the President's Award for Excellence in Leadership and Blue Key Award. Colleen received a BA from WSU and an MBA from Boston College. She lives in Quincy, Ma with her fiancé Jack.
