Homecoming 2026 - Westfield State University Foundation, Inc

The primary goal of the online auction is to raise funds for the University’s initiatives around access, removing economic barriers to our students’ education. The online auction brings alumni and donors from across the country to participate in this event.

The auction highlights some of the many tremendous assets our students, faculty, and staff enjoy on campus. Items include experiences from the University’s Music Department, History Department, Dining Services, Art Department, and many others. We will also have items from the community including concert and sports tickets, restaurant, and cultural experiences.

Join us in Scanlon Hall for an evening celebrating five outstanding Westfield State alumni and the impact they have made in their communities and professions. Enjoy dinner and an opportunity to celebrate this year’s award recipients alongside fellow alumni, friends, and members of the Westfield State community.

Start your Homecoming Saturday with breakfast in Tim and Jeanne’s Dining Commons and connect with fellow alumni, families, and friends of Westfield State.

The morning will include a special celebration honoring our Legacy Families, with a chance to recognize the generations of families who share a Westfield State connection.

Come grab breakfast, reconnect with campus, and celebrate the Westfield State families who make our community so special.

Make your way to the Alumni Tailgating Village at the Woodward Center Practice Field for a full day of music, reunions, food, and Westfield State pride! Alumni and students, and families can reserve their own tent space for the day, or simply stop by and enjoy the atmosphere, live music, and everything happening on the field.

The Tailgating Village will feature reunion tents* celebrating the Classes of 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2021, and 2026, along with a special Senior Year Kickoff Tent for the Class of 2027 and MTG Reunion Tent. (Reunion lunch is $10, except for the Class of 2026.)

Bringing your own tent? Tent spaces are available by pre-registration only. You must reserve your tent space in advance. ($25 per 10x10 space, one parking spot at Horace Mann is included.)

Whether you are celebrating a reunion, kicking off your senior year, or just looking for a place to hang out and enjoy Homecoming, come spend the day with us in the Alumni Tailgating Village!

11:30am |10th Annual Alumni Poetry Reading

Join the English Department for the 10th Annual Poetry Reading, celebrating a decade of bringing the Westfield State community together through poetry and the literary arts.

The event will take place in the Arno Maris Gallery with a Zoom option available for those who cannot attend in person. Guests are invited to stay for a reception featuring light snacks and drinks following the reading.

Come enjoy an afternoon of poetry, conversation, and community as we celebrate this special 10th anniversary.

Parking for Friday night awards ceremony is on campus.

Parking for Saturday's events is at the Commuter Lot. Reserved tailgate tents come with one spot at the Horace Mann lot.
