Event will feature keynote remarks from:
Dr. Angela Sadler Williamson, Ph.D., is an international best-selling author, Emmy-nominated filmmaker, and award-winning broadcaster. She is the cousin of civil rights icon Rosa Parks and the creator of the acclaimed documentary My Life with Rosie, which explores Parks’ life, activism, and enduring legacy.
The companion book, My Life with Rosie: A Bond Between Cousins, was voted Best Children’s Book on Black History by Mothering magazine and shares a side of Rosa Parks known only to her family, the Williamson family. Through this work, Dr. Williamson continues Parks’ philosophy of activism by inspiring young readers to become change agents in their own communities. She is also a former producer and copywriter for major broadcast television and cable news networks and currently serves as producer and host of the award-winning PBS series Everybody with Angela Williamson, which uplifts stories that celebrate the human spirit and collective responsibility.

In order to validate parking for our guests, we have 2 options:
you must park at the “Sheraton Parking Garage” OR the “91 South Parking Lot” ONLY.
We cannot validate parking at any other lots.
To obtain validation: you must bring your parking ticket in with you and have it validated at the coat check room next to the registration area at the event.
If you park in any other lot your parking WILL NOT BE VALIDATED.
