The primary interests of Clubs and Chapters include planning events and welcoming new alumni to a city, state, region and, in some cases, country. In some areas, they serve as liaisons to the university from a distance hosting events when representatives are in the area.

Classes

Affinity Groups

Affinity groups are made up of alumni who relate to each other by interest. Whether that interest is major, athletic team, club or organization, we are interested in helping you reconnect and stay connected with each other.

Affinity groups often hold reunions on Homecoming Weekend. If you are interested in joining a current affinity group or starting a new group, please feel free to contact these alumni directly, or contact Ryan Meersman, Director of Alumni Relations, at rmeersman@westfield.ma.edu or 413-572-5404.

Of all of our groups of alumni, Affinity Groups are the ones that are the most connected. We hope to see you involved with one soon!

Class Year Reunions

The year you graduated from college most likely stands out to you as a milestone in your life. It marks a period of great achievement and possibility. Those you graduated with make up your class, and the experiences you shared during your time as students should be celebrated and remembered. Typically, classes hold reunions on intervals of 5-10 years. The Office of Alumni Relations looks forward to providing support to your upcoming reunion!

Class Officers

Class members who held elected class officer positions at the time of graduation are generally responsible for deciding on holding, and organizing reunions. While it is important for class officers and members to be part of the event planning and classmate outreach, the Office of Alumni Relations is here to support.
