Bud Williams '73 Named Springfield Museum Ubora Award Winner

The Springfield Museums announced the winners of the 29th Ubora and 11th Ahadi award winners: state Rep. Bud Williams '73 and Kareem Wedderburn (a current freshman at Westfield State). 

The Ubora Award recognizes an adult of African heritage who exemplifies excellence in their commitment to creating a better community through service.

Williams serves as State Representative, Eleventh Hampden District. He was first elected to the Springfield City Council in 1993 and is also a member of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus.
