Dr. Yolanda Johnson ’93 Elected to Board of Directors at VHS Learning

Dr. Yolanda D. Johnson ’93 was recently elected to the board of directors at VHS Learning. She brings 23 years of educational leadership experience to the board. 

VHS Learning is an accredited nonprofit that empowers schools with online learning programs. 

Dr. Johnson serves as the Executive Officer for Student Services at Springfield Public Schools, where she supervises school counseling and social work services, dropout prevention and graduation improvement strategies, and college access and success initiatives. She is a champion for educational equity and improving college and career opportunities for underrepresented students.

Dr. Johnson earned a B.A. in Psychology from Westfield State, an MSW from the University of Connecticut, a Certificate of Advance Study from Springfield College, and an Ed.D. from The University of Massachusetts Amherst.
