Dubois '96 appointed Chief of Police at the Portland Police Department.

Alumnus Mark Dubois '96 was recently appointed as the Chief of Police at the Portland Police Department. Dubois served as the chief of police in Braintree, Massachusetts, a position he has held since 2019, after previously serving as chief in Maynard, Massachusetts for seven years prior to this new role.  

“Mark has demonstrated a commitment to instilling trust, spurring collaboration, and communicating and working with diverse communities.” said City Manager Danielle West.
