Joe Monroy ’97 Named as Bulfinch’s New Chief Technology Officer, Senior VP

Joe Monroy ’97 has joined The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. as their Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He will lead the company’s technological vision including planning and implementing new technology solutions that add value for Bulfinch, its affiliates, and its stakeholders. In his new role, Monroy will bring his two decades of IT leadership experience to aid his oversight of Bulfinch’s technology infrastructure.

Monroy previously held multiple leadership positions at Cushman & Wakefield, including Head of Global Application Hosting and Chief Information Officer of the C&W Services division. He has also served as Principal and Co-Founder of Roemont Consulting where he provided technology, digital advisory, and consulting solutions for financial services and commercial real estate firms.

Monroy earned his bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University in 1997. He is a dedicated mentor and board member of The Latin STEM Alliance, a program expanding access to STEM education and promoting STEM career interest in Boston and throughout Gateway Cities across Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Boston Chapter of Society of Information Management and will be joining Bulfinch’s Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Council.
