Ken Magarian ‘71 embodies what it means to be an Owl. Starting his lasting career at Westfield State as a student-athlete on the baseball team. Since then, he has worn a vast number of hats. Serving as the baseball and softball coach, to becoming the athletic director Margarian has had a long, successful career at Westfield State.
As a retired coach and athletic director, Magarian is only one of six individuals and one team inducted at the ceremony. While he may be retired, Margarian's 54 years as an Owl is far from over. He now teaches as an adjunct professor in the biology department.
