Professors present at EATA annual convention

Paul Cacolice, Ph.D., and Paul Higgins, DPT, assistant professors of movement science, sports, and leisure studies, each made a platform presentation on January 9 at the virtual Eastern Athletic Trainers Association annual convention. 

Dr. Higgins’ presentation, entitled “Communications Boundaries and Successes in the Team Treatment of the Athlete,” explored inter-professional communication in athletic medicine. 

Dr. Cacolice’s presentation, “Power As a Cost-Effective and Practical Clinical Intervention to ACL Injury,” offered a novel approach to the prevention and care of anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
