Registration and creative work submission: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/pvstem2020
Audience: Everyone!
Prior to the event, we invite all students, faculty, and members of the community to use any creative work to depict "STEM around us".
Get inspired through nature, engineering, class work, or even watching a football game.
Have fun - draw, sculpt, dance, animate, or build Legos! There are so many options and we hope to see your creative talents during our Virtual Showcase.
All participants are asked to upload their work by October 20, 2020 so we can share the submissions during the STEAM Virtual Showcase on October 22, 2020.
Please use the link above to register and upload an image or a short video (<20 seconds).
Dr. Jason Ramsay (Westfield State biologist and biological illustrator) will serve as keynote for the Showcase, sharing how his research in the biomechanics of sharks, skates, and rays (elasmobranch fish) involves all aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics).
Following Dr. Ramsay's talk, we will share the montage of work submitted. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
