Douglas Gilbert ’90 Appointed as Vice President/Commercial Lending at Florence Bank

Douglas Gilbert ’90 of Agawam was recently appointed to Vice President/Commercial Lending at Florence Bank. He has over 27 years of banking expertise, including his recent work at Country Bank, where he served as first vice president and team leader in the Commercial Lending Department. His responsibilities included managing the commercial lending staff as well as an in-depth mortgage portfolio.

Gilbert has also served as vice president and head of commercial lending at Easthampton Savings Bank and as assistant vice president in commercial lending at Westfield Bank. A certified public accountant, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Westfield State and a master’s in business administration from the University of Connecticut. He also serves on the board of the Quaboag Valley Business Assistance Corporation.
