Ken Tacelli ’91 Promoted to COO at Domino Data Lab

Ken Tacelli ’91 has been promoted to chief operating officer at Domino Data Lab. According to their website, Domino’s enterprise MLOps platform accelerates research, speeds model deployment, and increases collaboration for code-first data science teams at scale. 

Earlier this year, he joined Domino as president, global field operations. Now as COO, Tacelli leads Domino’s go-to-market engine, including sales, customer success, professional services, partnerships, and marketing. He brings a combination of extensive sales experience, operations improvement, and go-to-market expertise to the position.  

Nick Elprin, CEO and co-founder of Domino Data Lab said that he is thrilled to have Tacelli on the executive team. He described him as an accomplished leader with the depth of experience and values needed to scale the business. Tacelli is also an operations-focused leader with significant experience in the field.  

Before working at Domino, Tacelli held senior executive positions at many companies, including Alfresco, Datawatch Corporation, OpenText, and CA Technologies where he led strategic, organizational, and operational improvements. He also led Datawatch and Alfresco through successful acquisitions. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Westfield State in criminal justice and master’s degree in business administration from Northeastern University. He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
