Kim De La Cruz ’16 Promoted at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Kim De La Cruz ’16 has been promoted to Innovation Marketing Manager at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Greater Boston. The promotion comes after De La Cruz worked for six months to finalize the Accelerator Program within the Belfer Office for Dana-Farber Innovations. The program is dedicated to bridging the technology development gap in cancer therapeutics. 

De La Cruz has been with Dana-Farber since 2016. In her new role, she will oversee all marketing and communication efforts for the Innovation office and Binney Street Capital, Dana-Farber's first venture fund. She looks forward to building a marketing team committed to telling the story of how Dana-Farber’s technology transfer expertise allows them to lead the way, providing world-class patient care and conducting revolutionary research. She is committed to showcasing Dana-Farber's revolutionary breakthroughs in cancer research and care.  

De La Cruz also serves as Co-Chair to Mosaic, Dana-Farber's Employee Resource Group committed to acknowledging, celebrating, and contributing to the cultural and racial diversity of the Dana-Farber community.  

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication from Westfield State University in 2016.
