Krantz ‘92 recently appointed as the Pastor at Rockville United Methodist Church

Alumna Tara Krantz ‘92 was recently appointed as the Pastor at Rockville United Methodist Church in Vernon. Krantz began her career as a preschool teacher in Enfield and moved to the Montessori Children’s School in Springfield, where she taught preschool and kindergarten through second grade until 2017.  

After doing some lay pastor writing courses she obtained her official pastoral license in January of 2018 and was the part-time lay pulpit supply pastor at Portland United Methodist Church. Krantz while a licensed pastor, has not become an ordained minister yet. She attends seminary at the Boston School of Theology on track to graduate in two and a half years.
