The Coronavirus pandemic has presented countless obstacles for personal trainers, gym owners, and gym-goers. To combat those obstacles, Drew LaCombe ‘11 founded MoveStudios, an innovative mobile fitness studio. LaCombe is also CEO of the mobile studio.
So how does a mobile fitness studio work? Trainers can lease the studio, paying a fee to work with their clients in the facility while taking advantage of the provided equipment. The studio is unique because it provides an option for trainers and clients to gain access to fresh air as compared to be confined to the insides of a gym building. This concept is considered to be a game-changer for many fitness fanatics and trainers.
LaCombe is fortunate to work with two other Owl alumni, Ashley (Evers) Swartz ‘11 and David Bergeron ‘07. Swartz is the owner of Cormack & Goff Public Relations and focuses on content for written and digital materials. The former Owl lacrosse captain also prepares MoveStudios for upcoming launch events. Bergeron ‘07 is behind the operations of the studio. In 2017, he was inducted into the Westfield State Athletics Hall of Fame. As a student-athlete, he played football and track & field.
