STEM Start Transfer Bridge Program Completes Second Year

STEM Starter Transfer Bridge Program at Westfield State University just completed its second year. The program was developed in collaboration with Springfield Technical Community College, Holyoke Community College, Greenfield Community College, and Berkshire Community College.
The program included virtual sessions about the Westfield State Experience, career services, scholarships, time management and goal setting.
Students were funded to take a summer course, textbooks, and they all received a stipend.
Summer 2020 students: Mark Brown (Mathematics), Kevin Camacho (Biology), Emma Cowhey (Environmental Science), Emma Koehler (Mathematics), Brian Palmieri (Environmental Science), and Kia Yang (Biology).
