Prof. Caldwell publishes article in American Studies International

H. Zahra Caldwell, Ph.D., associate professor of ethnic and gender studies, recently published an article, “I was Anti-Everything’: Cartoonist Jackie Ormes, Repression, and the Comics as a Site of Progressive Black Journalism,” in the spring 2021 issue of American Studies with American Studies International, Special Issue, The Arts in the Black Press During the Age of Jim Crow.
