Through the Westfield State Foundation, the Institutional Advancement division was able to help finance the new 54,000-square-foot Science Center. The Dr. Nettie Maria Stevens Science and Innovation Center is the first all-academic building constructed at Westfield State in more than 40 years.
The Dr. Nettie Maria Stevens Science and Innovation Center opened in fall of 2016, housing state-of-the-art science laboratories, teaching environments, research spaces and a simulation lab for the University’s outstanding Nursing and Allied Health Department. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2017.
